Create Your Account
Sign up with your email address and create your organisation. No credit card is required to get started. You will have full access during the 14-day free trial to evaluate the platform with real data.
Your account includes a web dashboard for managing team members, backup sources, credentials, and monitoring. Invite colleagues by email to collaborate under a shared organisation.
Choose Your Plan
Select the plan that fits your team size and storage needs. Starter for small projects, Professional for growing teams, or Business for organisations with compliance requirements.
All plans include storage, data transfer, and API calls with no hidden fees. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Annual billing is available at a discount.
Get Your Credentials
Create a backup source in the dashboard and receive S3-compatible credentials. Each source gets its own access key and secret key, scoped to a specific storage prefix.
Credentials follow the principle of least privilege. A compromised key from one source cannot access data from another source. You can rotate or revoke keys instantly from the dashboard.
Connect Your Backup Client
Configure your preferred backup tool with the S3 endpoint and credentials. NordenVault works with any S3-compatible client, so you can use the tools your team already knows.
We provide step-by-step setup guides for restic, rclone, Duplicati, and other popular tools. Most teams are sending their first backup within ten minutes of creating an account.
Monitor Backup Health
Track backup freshness, storage usage, and job history from the dashboard. Set up email or webhook alerts to be notified when a backup is late or a source needs attention.
The monitoring dashboard shows you at a glance which sources are healthy and which need attention. Professional and Business plans include webhook integrations for connecting to your existing alerting tools.
Restore When Needed
When you need to restore data, use your backup client to pull files from the S3 endpoint. You can restore individual files, directories, or full snapshots depending on your backup tool.
Restores use the same S3 credentials as backups. There are no additional fees for data retrieval.
